My Story
Thank you for taking the time to view my profile. I understand that considering adoption for your baby is a big decision. My name is Danielle. I have quite a few friends that have adopted and hope to become a mom through adoption myself. I have always dreamed of being a mother and cannot wait to create memories and share all life’s beautiful moments with a child. I still remember the one Christmas my grandma stayed up all night knitting my cabbage patch doll a green sweater and matching hat for his bald head.
I am the youngest of two daughters. My parents raised my sister and myself with immense love and support. My parents have been married for 53 years and still live in my childhood home. I have a very close-knit family. I have a large extended family and am 1 of 21 first cousins on my mother’s side. My father’s side is smaller, and I have 3 first cousins. I have a close relationship with my extended family.
It has always been a dream of mine to become a mom. My family and friends are all excited about me looking to adopt a child. This child will be showered with love, support, and guidance. My mom is looking forward to reading and rocking the baby as well as crocheting blankets and toys for him or her, as he or she grows older taking her grandchild to the park or the beach. My dad is so excited to have a grandchild to play with and once he or she gets older to taking him or her out for ice cream. Aunt Denise cannot wait to celebrate her niece or nephew’s first Christmas with them. It will be so special to see their excitement for all the presents that will be received. My golden retriever, Bailey absolutely loves kids and would love a brother or sister to cuddle and play with. This child would be a great gift to our family and a true blessing. Any child that joins our family will be welcomed and loved.
I take advantage of the local amenities. I enjoy going into NYC and seeing a Broadway show, movies in the park, a concert, an art museum or visiting a new restaurant. It is always great to visit Manhattan during Christmas time. I also enjoy being active and go to the gym regularly. I start my mornings out walking my dog. I love getting out in nature in my free time. When the weather is nice, I spend time going to the beach, kayaking, and gardening. I also enjoy a nice fall day out east visiting the farms and small towns by the water. Traveling on vacation and learning about other cultures is a favorite pastime of mine. I like cooking/baking and am known for my homemade pies and holiday cookies that everyone waits for during the holiday season.
